Flexible fishing lure having an integral retainer and method of making same

Publication number: US10709121B2

Application number: US16/551,252

A flexible plastic fishing lure has an integral retainer that is configured proximal to a front end of the fishing lure and has at least one retainer barb. The integral retainer is a harder and tougher material than the plastic used in the body of the fishing lure and is configured to seat over the jig-head barb to prevent the flexible plastic fishing lure from sliding down along the jig-head. The integral retainer has at least one retainer barb that more effectively holds the flexible plastic to the integral retainer. The integral retainer may have extension tabs that extend out radially and in some cases extend out from the flexible plastic body. The integral retainer may also have an aperture that extend along the length of the integral retainer and may be used to inject the flexible plastic into a mold.

Low loss tri-band protective armor radome

Publication number: US10693223B1

Application number: US16/411,033

A tri-band multiwall radome includes a dense polymeric strike plate that is configured on the outside of the radome, a capture layer and a tuning layer. The polymeric strike plate is a tough polymer, such as a polycarbonate and breaks a bullet into fragments that are more easily captured by the capture layer. The capture layer includes a number of fabric sheets of highly oriented fibers, such as polyethylene fibers, and a binder. The tuning layer may be a low density foam that is configured inside of the capture layer and provided to reduce reflective losses and improve ballistic performance. A tri-band radome cover may have a dB loss over a wavelength of 8 to 40 kHz of no more than 1 dB. A tri-band radome cover may be formed in a dome shape.

Integrated desalination-power system

Publication number: US10689266B1

Application number: US16/478,895

An exemplary desalination-power system utilizes turbines configured within a water intake conduit to the desalination processor to produce power for the desalination processor. Water intakes are configured to provide a natural flow of water to the desalination processor though hydrostatic pressure. One or more turbines coupled with the water intake conduits are driven and produce power for the system. The desalination processor incorporates Graphene filters to and may include a structured water system to increase the H3O2 concentration of the water prior to Graphene filters. Discharge water may be pumped back into the body of water but be separated from the intakes. A secondary power source, such as a renewable power source, may be used to produce supplemental power for the system. Power produced may be provided to a secondary outlet, such as a power grid, ail above and/or underground.

Method of reinforced cementitious construction by high speed extrusion printing and apparatus for using same

Publication number: US10688683B2

Application number: US16/535,028

The present invention relates to methods and apparatuses for an automated reinforced concrete construction system for onsite slip-form molding and casting a variety of cementitious mixes in a cast in place leave in place externally moldable flexible reinforced containment sleeve providing a wide variety of interchangeable full-scale molding configurations simultaneously optimizing a wide variety of cementitious mix curing characteristics, further having optional internal reinforcement net(s), for layer wise interlocking additive printed brick deposition providing improved slip-form mold casting of a wide variety of reinforced concrete structures; the present invention further includes a variety of operating platforms suitable for on and offsite construction as disclosed herein.

Binocular adaptor assembly

Publication number: US10684462B1

Application number: US16/420,628

A binocular adaptor system enables quick and secure attachment of binoculars to a stand, such as a tripod stand. The binocular adaptor assembly utilizes an adaptor body that has a stand end for coupling with a stand and a clamp end for receiving a clamp. The clamp is configured to extend into a clamp aperture in the adaptor body and has a clamp pin aperture to receive a lock pin. A spring is configured between an insert end of the clamp and the adaptor body to provide a force against the insert end of the clamp. When a lock pin is inserted into the clamp aperture, the spring engages a lock stop of the clamp with an insert lock portion of the lock pin to secure the lock pin in place. A lock sleeve can then be tightened to prevent pressing of the button.

Shoe moulding to finish interior doorway

Publication number: US10676940B2

Application number: US16/498,352

A doorway shoe moulding kit includes shoe moulding pieces that are designed to provide a finished interface between standard interior doorways and flooring in a manner that is aesthetically pleasing and functional. A kit includes pieces that are contour-matched to standard doorway casings, that abut with standard shoe mouldings and that are well fitted to cover the standard door jamb. The doorway shoe moulding kit can be easily adapted to suit a variety of doorway sizes and configurations and it may be tapered to ensure the moulding does not interfere with the operation of a door. The doorway shoe moulding may be easily filed, sanded or cut to best fit it to a doorway, it shall be easily and quickly attached to the doorway, and it shall be readily painted or finished to suit the user.

Automatic vehicle sunshade system

Publication number: US10654350B1

Application number: US16/357,201

An automatic sunshade system mounted to a cabin-top of a vehicle automatically deploys from a stored and retracted orientation to a deployed orientation. The canopy is coupled to a plurality of support members that are wound about a hub and have stored energy when in retracted orientation. The support members unwind from the hub automatically and spread the canopy out over the vehicle. The support members may comprise a plurality of elongated portions that are coupled together by an elastic tether. The canopy may be retracted manual with a crank or by a motor that winds the support members around the hub.

Low friction rehabilitation board with an integral band retaining feature and methods of rehabilitation

Publication number: US10639519B2

Application number: US16/504,714

A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a user’s limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.

Isolated phase control power regulation circuit and system

Publication number: US10630193B1

Application number: US16/292,874

A phase controlled power regulation circuit is isolated from a line voltage and therefore overcomes some of the safety issues associated with currently available potentiometers. A phase controlled power regulation circuit employs a potentiometer that is electrically isolated from mains power. A transformer regulates the line voltage down to a reduced reference voltage that is used by the power regulation circuit. Any single point failure of a component within the power regulation circuit will not create unsafe condition. This greatly simplifies regulatory approval and opens new applications. Since the potentiometer is operated at low voltage, it may be remotely located from the circuits that handle the power with two conductors of class 2 wiring. Also, the potentiometer need not be of a panel mounted rotary or sliding type. It may be a potentiometer integrated circuit controllable from a microprocessor that enables complex regulation and/or sequencing control.

Neutron beam diffraction material treatment system

Publication number: US10629318B1

Application number: US15/948,873

A neutron beam diffraction material treatment system utilizes a neutron beam source configured to produce a first neutron beam having a first direction and second neutron beam source configured to produce a second neutron beam having a second direction. The neutron beam diffraction material treatment system can direct the first and second neutron beams to intersect with each other in or on a work-piece and thereby treat the work piece by neutron diffraction. One or more of the neutron beams may be configured to move to change the location of the intersecting point within the work-piece and/or the work-piece may be configured to move. The first and second neutron beams may be configured with a magnetic coil configured around the neutron beam and between the neutron beam source and the work-piece. The magnetic coil may be used to contain the neutron beams and reduce the scattering of neutron.
